TEACHING:

•
Instructor, Georgetown University, 1990-2004:
   - Designed, developed, and taught two of the most popular courses in the catalogue (always wait-listed).  Both conducted as seminars in the Continuing Education Department with workshop component:  "Finding Your Voice As A Writer" and "Jump-Starting Your Novel."

• Instructor, George Washington University, 1990-2004:
   - English composition, expository and argumentative writing; employing composition theory of Peter Elbow and contemporaries.
   -  Designed, developed and taught advanced courses, e.g., "Essays in Conscience."
Curriculum included A Woman Called Moses, A Man For All Seasons and other works; student essays in response to the readings; a research paper based on visits to homeless shelters.

• Instructor, Howard University, 2002-2003:

   - English composition and Literature with African-American literary curriculum; essays in response to the readings due every two weeks; one research paper per semester.
   - Advanced creative writing course to seniors.

• Instructor, Fordham University, 2006-2008:      
  
- Creative Writing and American Literature.  Popular, wait-listed courses.  Beginners to Advanced levels.  Narrative, expository, and creative fiction and non-fiction.  Specially developed American Lit course: Literary Currents in Conscience.
